In pursuing their passion for food and celebration, the Cacciatore brothers have given us a wonderful establishment only 30 minutes from downtown Montréal. This modern-day Garden of Eden offers a comfortable décor of velvet & woodwork and excellent natural lighting courtesy of large windows on the edge of the dining room, which features a magnificent glass cellar. There are also a few private lounges discretely tucked away behind majestic curtains for guests seeking a more private dining experience.
And what an experience it is! Executive Chef Vincenzo Russo makes you rediscover his roots, presenting Italy at its best. Among his classics, the rack of lamb is a refreshing favourite, with a reduction of Marsala wine, goat cheese with glazed lemon. Pasta dishes are updated with a light flavourful twist and presented with different textures and demi-glace sauces. To tempt your taste buds, Chef Russo also offers Wasabi and fresh cream tuna tartare as well as foie gras served with prunes poached in Riesling… pure delights! Although less prominent on the menu, Tenuta’s beef dishes are just as delicious. The meat is aged on site to ensure it is cooked to perfection and of the highest quality.
As for the wine, the choices abound. Acclaimed by none other than Wine Spectator magazine, the wine list offers many well known, mostly Italian, vintages. And to top off your feast, you can enjoy one of 12 grappas or a bold glass of Louis XIII cognac. After only two years, Tenuta continues to rank among Québec’s best restaurants!
